Terms & Conditions

Version 2026-06-06

Acceptable use

[LAWYER PLACEHOLDER — not legal advice; replace before launch]

Set out how the service may and may not be used: it is for managing the user's own recovery admin; no use on behalf of others without authority, no unlawful, abusive, or automated/scraping use, no attempts to circumvent the approval step. Counsel to draft the acceptable-use terms.

Nature of the service — administrative, not clinical

[LAWYER PLACEHOLDER — not legal advice; replace before launch]

MATERIAL: Recour is an ADMINISTRATIVE assistant. It reads clinic mail and PROPOSES actions (calendar entries, replies, filing) that the user must approve — it does not act autonomously and is not a medical device or a provider of healthcare. Counsel to define the service and its limits.

No medical advice

[LAWYER PLACEHOLDER — not legal advice; replace before launch]

MATERIAL: nothing the assistant produces is medical, diagnostic, or treatment advice; the user must rely on their treating clinicians. The assistant may make mistakes and outputs are not verified by a clinician. Counsel to draft the no-medical-advice disclaimer.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

[LAWYER PLACEHOLDER — not legal advice; replace before launch]

Service provided "as is"; warranties excluded to the extent the law allows; liability limited; carve-outs for non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Counsel to draft warranties and the liability cap consistent with the ACL.

Accounts, suspension & termination

[LAWYER PLACEHOLDER — not legal advice; replace before launch]

Eligibility (age/capacity), the user's responsibility for their Google connection and account security, and the grounds and process for suspending or terminating an account (by either party), including what happens to data on termination (cross-reference the Privacy Policy and the in-app export/delete tools). Counsel to draft account & termination terms.

Governing law & jurisdiction

[LAWYER PLACEHOLDER — not legal advice; replace before launch]

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia, and the parties submit to the courts of that jurisdiction. Counsel to confirm governing law / jurisdiction wording.

Changes to these terms

[LAWYER PLACEHOLDER — not legal advice; replace before launch]

How the terms may be updated, how users are notified, and that continued use after a versioned change constitutes acceptance — consent is recorded per version (see the consents record). Counsel to draft the variation clause.
